Practice and Exploration of Culture Teaching Mode in University English Class

Language and culture is inseparable. The process of language learning is at the time culture acquisition process. Therefore, the advantage of culture introduction in English class should be given enough attention. Based on the author's teaching practice, this paper demonstrates how cultural knowledge is introduced into the university English classroom step by step. The goal of doing this is to make students understand the differences between Chinese and Western culture, so as to use English language more freely and properly, and in the long run, acquire the cross cultural communicative competence.
