This issue of Russian Politics and Law examines the interrelationships among memory, ideology, and conflict. The articles in this issue examine the ideological conflicts that have taken place since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, with a particular focus on conflicts over historical memory and the labeling of symbolic political actions.
