摘要
The aim of this work is to investigate the impact of conventional and novel working fluids in the control performance of ORC systems. Different working fluids and ORC process characteristics exhibit different sensitivity to variability, thus it is important to simultaneously investigate their dynamic performance and to design controllers that account for both working fluid and ORC process options. We develop a control scheme based on model predictive control for an ORC system and explore the dynamic response of various mixtures as working fluids. The sensitivity of the fluid properties to the changes in the operating conditions influences the achieved performance and specifies an additional criterion for the optimal selection of the working fluid.
