摘要
Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a common disorder affecting approximately 13% of the population, and one of the most common reasons that individuals seek medical care. Defined as any inflammation of the mucosal lining of the nose and paranasal sinuses, CRS analysis must be based upon anatomical considerations. Three pathologies may involve either nasal fossa, or localized sinuses cavities, or diffuse nasosinusal cavities. The diagnosis of CRS has been based on symptoms that have been categorized as nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, smell loss, facial pain. Computed tomography (CT) and nasal fibroscopy provide complementary information, each has advantages and potential drawbacks. (c) 2009 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
