An extensible system architecture for web-based lidar experimentation and data analysis

摘要
One of the key challenges in improving Our understanding of the environment is the development of systems that can facilitate shared access to expensive instrumentation and locally-collected datasets. This paper describes the design of an extensible web-based system for lidar instrument control, data analysis and visualization. System components consist of a remote desktop system, a database management system and a data processing system. The system design is developed as an extensible framework for future incorporation of additional instrumentation and atmospheric science datasets.
