摘要
This paper presents the build and validation of real time digital simulation (RTDS) model for testing control and protection system of Lingbao back-to-back (BTB) high voltage direct current (HVDC) converter station which links between Northwest China and Central China power network. The build of power circuit model and the design of model parameters associated with actual power system are described. A RTDS benchmark model of control system is developed to enable the power circuit model to run simulation for evaluating potential interaction with physical control and protection devices. Simulated results from benchmark control model are given and compared with contemplated solutions of design schemes, and a high degree of agreement in a series of typical cases performances validate the equivalence of the circuit model built on RTDS simulator to actual power system.
