Mining Term Association Rules from Unstructured Text in Azerbaijani Language

Association rules are one of the most important and frequently used technique in Data Mining. It helps to find all patterns or co-occurrences of items in dataset, also so-called as associations. Since its first introduction in 1993, the approach significantly enhanced and has been successfully applied in various areas including market basket analysis, text analytics, medical diagnosis, logistic regression, fraud detection, etc. One of the most natural applications of association rules is web mining that can help to find out co-occurrences of words in sentences which in turn enables pattern mining and finding associations or relationships between words. The current study makes an original contribution to the language independent text analytics research using association rules mining techniques.
