Two species of Drepanosticta Laid law from Papua New Guinea are described as new. They are: Drepanosticta elaphos sp. nov. (holotype male: Papua New Guinea) and D. pterophora sp. nov. (holotype male: Papua New Guinea), both from the upper Sepik Basin. Characters of the adults are illustrated, habitat notes are provided and their affinities are discussed.
