Nonlinear Modeling and PWM-Based Sliding-Mode Control of DC-DC Buck Converter for CCM

摘要
The DC-DC converters interface energy sources with loads to provide a constant voltage. The converter function is not possible without a proper controller design. In this paper, a large-signal non-ideal averaged model of DC-DC buck converter is introduced and implemented using s-function. Additionally, a PWM-based sliding-mode controller with constant ramp voltage is designed. The nonlinear model of buck converter is validated via MATLAB and Saber simulations. Finally, the nonlinear control system is simulated in MATLAB to test the tracking and regulation performance under line and load disturbances.
