摘要
Hybrid renewable energy systems are placed to become the long-term power solution for many applications. In such systems the replacement of several single-input converters by a multi-input converter (MIC) leads to a simpler and lower cost circuit. In this paper a parallel multi-input converter (PMIC) to process multi-source electrical power is proposed, designed and simulated. This converter is based on interleaving technique and use Adaptive Delta Modulation (ADM) loop as a controller, As the converter operates in interleaving mode, better performance can be achieved and the physical size is also reduced. Analysis of the converter is carried out in order to achieve the required system stability and to improve its dynamic performance. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the advantages of the proposed converter. The performance of the PMIC with ADM control loop provides a number of features such as very fast response, a very good reference signal tracking and high stability with input voltage or output load variations.
