摘要
The standard hybrid finite-element boundary-integral (FE-BI) technique has been extended to deal with the problem of electromagnetic scattering from buried objects. The presence of the ground-air interface is taken into account by using the half-space Green's function, thus reducing the number of unknowns necessary to numerically solve the problem. The problem has been conveniently formulated by using the field transmitted into the half space containing the object as an incident field. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
