Comparison of Animation Talent Development Plan in China and Korea

Through analysis and comparison of the animation talent development plan in China and Korea, we found that existing development model in Korea was very suitable for itself. Animation and cartoon industries in Korea are well developed. They have been cooperated with universities to combine industry requirement, study and research for very long time and there is a relatively mature process mechanism has been formed. As for China, current animation education model is limited by national education mechanism. It has significant limitations in different aspects including industries, study and research. Development plans normally are designed only by universities without other concerns, so graduates are hard to get higher recognition from enterprises side. In this article, we have no intention to discuss which model if better. Instead, we will focus on exploration of different animation education model to find a suitable solution for the development of our animation design schools.
