A study on the analysis and evaluation methods of information in supply chains

摘要：
Based on the natures of information and supply chains, a three-dimension analysis method of supply chain information is suggested; the characteristics of these dimensions and the relevancies among them are discussed. A new concept of general supply chain information value is suggested; furthermore, an information value evaluation method based on the new concept is proposed. Finally, the information value evaluation method is validated by a numerical example.
