Film-induced tourism deals with how audiovisual productions influence social imagery, to the point of motivating the viewer to visit places depicted on the screen. The subject has been studied since the 1990s in countries such as Spain, United States and New Zealand. Given this, the present research focused on what has been studied and published on the subject in other parts of the world, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. Thus, objective of this research was to perform a systematic literature review on articles that relate <tourism and movies> in Latin American context. Methodology was based on a systematic literature review of bibliometric and integrative character. From searches performed in the Capes Scientific Journals, Redib and Redalyc Journal Portal, 28 articles were selected. As results, it was found that subject has been recurrent in the last decade, but themes are still dealt with widely and with many gaps, it is not possible to identify reference authors in the studied context.
