摘要
The objective of this study was to examine the influence of trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid on the proliferation capacity of neural stem cells in vitro. Morphological observation showed that more neural stem cells failed to form neurospheres compared with that observed with control neural stem cells. Cell counts showed that treatment of neural stem cells with trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid decreased the cell number in a dose- and time- dependent manner. Western blot analysis revealed the reduced expression of cyclin D1 induced by trans-10, cis-12 treatment. These results suggested that trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid inhibited the proliferation of neural stem cells. The effect of trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid may be associated with the down-regulation of cyclin D1 expression.
