摘要
Landscape ecology has been developed gradually from two decisive nature science disciplines as are biology and geography. Last disciplines which are enriching and define landscape ecology in content are being ecology and environmental sciences. Landscape ecology has two parts in approaches and content. It has gnozeology, theory-cognition approach and practise utilisation. In national and international research level has been achieved valuable results in the sphere of abiotic and biotic landscape elements and components. There were elaborated procedures which lead into methods of landscape ecology planning - LANDEP, that has been beside Slovakia applicated at other countries of Europe in modified versions. Landscape ecological plan is logically transfered to the landscape creation in theory and application context. Those are established in evaluation of composition - aesthetic and cultural - history marks of landscape besides landscape-ecological approaches. At the wider spectral understanding landscape creation is named as landscape architecture.
