摘要
The number of e-waste from mobile phone industry is still dominating until now in developing countries especially in Indonesia. This has happened as a result there is no mutual commitment from all parties i.e. businesses, government, and societies to control their activities in producing, selling, and using this product. They conduct sustainable reverse logistics (SRL) activities individually and prioritize to their own interest. Whereas, to overcome e-waste problems, a country needs all parties' cooperation. Therefore, it is important to find the type of stakeholders' engagement. through this conceptual paper which relevant to Indonesian context. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach and literature review. The results of this research are, first, Quattro helix model (manufactures, government, takeback operators, and societies) is established as the appropriate structure to build a robust team to implement RL. Second, Involvement, collaboration, and empowerment are the types of engagement that predicted as the sound model for handling e-waste problem in Indonesia.
