摘要
The detoxification of chemical warfare agents by the metal-organic framework CuBTC (HKUST-1) was studied using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. All agents were shown to hydrolyze within the substrate. The degradation of VX and soman (GD) was determined to be relatively slow, with half-lives over 1 day, while the half life of distilled mustard (HD) was determined to be about 13 h. HD half lives, measured by MAS NMR, were dependant on spinning speed, with observed half lives decreasing at higher spinning speeds.
