摘要：
This paper accentuates the importance of liquidity management and its relation with profitability using a sample of Malaysian public listed companies of consumer products industry. Apart from examining the relationship between liquidity and profitability, this paper also examines size of the companies as a moderator. Data was taken during financial and non-financial crisis. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Regression was used to test the hypotheses. The results suggest that there is no relationship between liquidity and profitability in financial and non-financial crisis and company size influenced the relationship between these variables. Implications, limitations and suggestions for future research are discussed at the end of the paper.
