Social reform and its value and attitude related context

Social policy after the fall of the communist regime has undergone fundamental changes. The reform reflects a need to react to new social realities and to intentions of the reform makers. The values of social policy issues are satisfied, which, however, does not observe a sufficient response in attitudes. In the strict sense of the word, social policy has not become an arena of political fights, nor the subject of a more intensive interest of the public opinion. The political scene and the public rather reflect the changed social situation and problems related to standard of living of the population.
