On College Bilingual Teaching in China

摘要
The reason and the necessity of carrying out bilingual teaching in China's colleges and universities were discussed, the psychological foundation of implementing bilingual teaching was explored and the concept and the basic modes of bilingual teaching were analyzed. Based on the analysis, problems in bilingual teaching were pointed out. Countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve bilingual teaching in China were put forward. They are winning over leaders' support for bilingual teaching, walking out of six misunderstandings of bilingual teaching, looking for the breakthrough point to carry out bilingual teaching in various disciplines, manipulating the penetration of foreign language in the process of bilingual teaching, training teachers, selecting textbooks, creating internal and external environments of bilingual teaching, carrying out a wide range of activities and perfecting evaluation mechanism and assessment method.
