摘要：
Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry coupling constitutes one of the most widespread techniques of analytical chemistry. The aim of this article is to simply explain the principles of gas chromatography and mass spectrometry and to show how the association of both techniques provides an outstanding analytical tool. The most current analysis modes are illustrated by examples chosen in the field of analytical toxicology.
