Modeling and evaluation of the fuel cell co-generation performance

摘要
The present paper concerns the effects of introducing fuel cell power plant on the energy and cost saving in stationary power generation application. The operation data of a 200kW phosphoric acid fuel cell power plant is first reviewed to provide an example of actual cogeneration performance. Also, the paper presents some results of simulation for the merit assessment on the introduction of various fuel cell systems to different site applications. There, merits of high temperature fuel cells are apparent, though competitiveness with advancement in thermal power generation technology requires further careful discussion. Copyright (C) 2001 IFAC.
