EXPERIMENTAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF THE 2G/3G/4G PUBLIC MOBILE NETWORK

摘要
In this paper an experimental performance analysis of the second, third and fourth generation of public mobile networks is presented. The voice and data services are tested and quality of service parameters are considered in the analysis. Measurements are performed in indoor environment and real microcell of the specific radio technology is analysed. QualiPoc measuring software on the mobile phone, which includes all functions for radio network testing, was used. The measured realistically achievable throughput values for LTE are bigger than values for GSM and UMTS. Results of the analysis show that the latest radio technology provides better service to the end user.
