Model Based Transient Stability Assessment for Power Systems

摘要
With the increasing complexity of power network technologies, new mehods for assessing transient stability of power systems are needed. An example of such a "new" method consists in computing conservative approximations of well-chosen "stability regions". In this talk I will briefly present some stability regions that seem relevant, as well as a method to approximate them, either from outside or from inside, using Lasserre's Moment-SOS hierarchy. Then, since such a method is very sensitive to the state space dimension, I will give some insights on how to lighten the computational burden of the hierarchy while maintaining numerically certified approximations.
