The epidemiological magnitude of Chagas Disease in Mexico is not known. In this research the serological results are presented as part of an integral study in the state of Veracruz according to the statements settled down by the WHO/PAHO. Blood samples were obtained for screening on filter paper in 13 294 individuals with HAI and ELISA tests. Which were confirmed by serum with HAI, ELISA, and IFI tests. The tests were made with antigens of a Mexican T cruzi strain. Were requested 705 confirmation sera from which 429 were received. There were 83 individuals positive to 2 or 3 tests (0.62%) in the state. In Mexico, few studies have been made with samples 705 confirmation sera on filter paper. The analysis of these results will contribute to obtain operative measures for the control and epidemiological surveillance interventions for the elimination of the Chagas disease transmission in Mexico.
