摘要：

The author uses the State Archive documents to compare both planned and actually implemented measures aimed at developing air transportation facilities in Magadan Region. The conceptual basis of his study is the report of V. S. Pogorelov, the commander of aviation unit, which he presented at the Conference on development of productive forces in Magadan Region in 1959.
