摘要：
The 96th Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society and the 16th International Congress of Endocrinology came together in Chicago, Illinois, to be held as a joint meeting in 2014 for the first time since 1996. More than 3,200 abstracts were submitted for presentation and in excess of 10,000 people from 96 countries were registered to attend what was expected to be the world's largest gathering of scientists working in hormone research and endocrinologists. This report covers some of the highlights from the poster session on the first day.
