摘要：

A new efficient method is proposed for solving problems of electromagnetic and acoustic wave diffraction from 2D and 3D scatterers. Besides being universal and stable, algorithms based on this method exhibit a high rate of convergence. Numerous problems of scattering from bodies with various types of boundary conditions are solved in the cases of plane and cylindrical (spherical) incident waves. The influence of various parameters on the accuracy of solutions is analyzed.
