The high-frequency electromagnetic wave logging's response is sensitive to the layers' boundary. Much attention should be paied to the precision of geometrical boundary parameters. This paper firstly gives the formation parameters by a pattern recognition technique, then initial inversion models are built up. By reconstructing the inversion objective functions of electric parameters and the geometrical boundary, this paper carried out the alternative inversion of the electric parameters and the geometrical boundary parameters by using an improved damping form of Gauss-Newton method. The inversion result is obtained for the representative model with 17 horizontal layers, the inversion precision of logging response curves is up to 2.0 % (average relative error), also the precision of electric parameters is up to 4.4 %.
