Video content analysis and summarization for watermarking

摘要
Video watermarking for copyright protection currently is a hot but challenging topic in multimedia applications as it associates with a huge potential market. The state-of-the-heart techniques on video watermarking mainly focus on how to embed the watermark into video content securely, imperceptibly and robustly. We observed that watermark extraction with original content is always more robust than that without original content. However using original video content to extract watermark is not feasible for video applications. In this paper, Well propose a novel concept to increase the system robustness by constructing the virtual original content for watermark extraction. The construction is based on systematic analysis and summarization on various video contents. Experimental results have shown that our idea is valid and practical.
