摘要：

This paper describes the process of searching for a connection between two late mediaeval triptychs imported from northern Germany to the north of Norway in the 15th century: The Vardo triptych in the University Museum in Trondheim and the St. Mary triptych in Trondenes church. Underlying paintings detected with Infrared examination could link the two retables, and thus support Lubeck as the production site also for the St. Mary triptych in Trondenes church.
