摘要
Bronchiolitis is a common respiratory disease in infants with poor autoimmune function and narrow airways, resulting in a higher incidence. Despite great advances in medical technology, infants remain vulnerable to complications affecting the effectiveness of treatments. Therefore, suitable drug carriers for long-term local administration are the key to improve treatment efficiency. In this study, budesonide-loaded PLGA microspheres were successfully prepared by emulsification-solvent volatilization method. The microspheres had smooth and nearly spherical surfaces, and the size was 8.0-11.8 mu m, with a high encapsulation rate and drug loading capacity. The slow degradation of PLGA allows enables budesonide to exert long-term and sustained effects, representing a novel method for treating infant bronchiolitis. The application value of the method for infant bronchiolitis was determined, and the relevant mechanism was explored.
