Religious festivals in the Misericordia of Braga (18th century)

The present work intends to recreate the scenarios and experiences of the religious festivities in Misericordia of Braga in the 18th century. The festive manifestations in the Misericordias date from the beginnings of its foundation, with the Misericordia of Lisbon in 1498, and were promoted with the institution of this confraternity in national territory and in its vast empire throughout the centuries.
