Retail shopper's choice on casual wear store location in Hong Kong

摘要
This study attempted to pinpoint the determining attributes for spatial shopping decisions and investigate different driving criteria in shopping choice by mall shoppers and free shoppers on casual wear retail store in Hong Kong. Schuler's multiattribute store choice model was adopted as framework for investigation. In this research, six location choice attributes were identified, namely, comfortable environment, accessibility, scale, variety, facility/safety and flexibility. It was found that comfortable environment, facility/safety and flexibility can be used to discriminate the mall and free shoppers' choice of location.
