摘要
This is the first report of sand flies for Carchi Province in Ecuador. Adult females of Lutzomyia trapidoi were collected in the Forest of Choco, near an indigenous community AWA (locality The Baboso) which previously had no official epidemiological history of cutaneous leishmaniasis.
