摘要
In order to derive closed-form expressions of green's functions for the vector and scalar potentials of a horizontal magnetic dipole in a parallel-plate waveguide filled wit a homogeneous dielectric, an improved complex image method based on the two-level approximation is considered in conjunction with the use of Prony's method. The results for the evaluation of the closed-form Green's functions obtained by the present method (two-level approximation) are compared with those obtained by the previous method (one-level approximation). The present method is observed to give more accurate results than the previous method over the wide frequency range as well as the whole spatial range. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
