Single-cycle pulse propagation in a cubic medium with delayed Raman response

摘要：
The propagation characteristics of a single-cycle pulse, at 0.8 mu m wavelength, are studied numerically in one spatial dimension. It is shown that Raman term does influence the propagation characteristics by counteracting the self-steepening effect.
