Eccentrically pin-loaded single edge cracked geometries are an excellent alternative to compact tension type geometries for testing some advanced composite materials. This paper discusses the development of stress intensity factor and compliance solutions for an eccentrically pin-loaded single edge cracked geometry, ESE(T). (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
