摘要
The article provides an overview of a field of literary history that has not yet been dealt with comprehensively the German-language anthology in the Bohemians Lands. Anthologies are non-periodically collections of texts, which contain originally unrelated texts or text excerpts from more than one author and which present already published texts or authors. Particularly in multilingual and multi-cultural societies, anthologies have on the one hand an integrative-exclusive function; the intention is to valorize what is one's own and to distance oneself from the alien. In contrast, anthologies serve a cross-border cultural exchange and are thus part of literary transfer processes. In the first case one can speak of the type of,self-anthology; in the second of,foreign or translation anthologies'. On the background of the (literary) political developments in the Bohemian Lands, the paper deals with text type Anthology from the beginning of the 19th century to 1945.
