Analysis and optimization of complex thin-walled structures and pipelines

摘要：
Certain improved optimization procedure, of thin walled structures are presented. In the procedures the modified Trefftz finite elements are applied, which considerably decreases the time of computer calculations. Also a new formulation of a convenient objective function is proposed. Additionally, application of sensitivity analysis radically decreases the number of controlling variables in particular stages of the optimization process.
