摘要
Recent activity in efforts to develop optical diagnostic techniques for the high-temperature test reactor (HTTR) is reviewed. Radiation resistant optical fibres have been developed, which will withstand radiation damages; these are expected to be deployed in the HTTR core regions within a few years. Temperature, rector power and other operating parameters could be measured by the optical diagnostic systems, which have several advantages over other diagnostic systems.
