摘要
Lessons from the Chernobyl accident are summarized. The evolution of traditional nuclear reactor design, including new projects such as subcritical assemblies controlled by an external beam of particles (neutrons and protons) is presented. The Feoktistov reactor and the possibility of its realization are discussed.
