摘要：
The paper presents the results of the GIS course development within the framework of a Tempus Project S_JEP 09143-95 ''Applications of GIS in Environmental Studies''. The paper concentrates on the second part of the course - ''Environmental applications of GIS'', which forms a series of case studies enabling the students to work interactively on a set of environmental topics which were researched in several regions of Europe. This part of the course will be made available on the World Wide Web. The structure of the prepared case studies as learning material will be discussed in more detail.
