摘要
The rates of HIV and AIDS among women vary by ethnicity in the USA. The present study investigated whether there were ethnic differences in the psychosocial factors that predict sexual risk behavior in an urban sample of 457 African-American, Caucasian, and Latina HIV-positive and HIV-negative women. Results confirmed that socioeconomic factors and substance abuse were associated with more risky sexual behaviors in African-American and Caucasian women. However, for Latinas, history of trauma and older age were associated with more risky behavior.
