SELECTION AND USE OF ICT RESOURCES FOR TEACHING SCIENCE. STUDY OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS PEDAGOGIC-CURRICULAR BELIEFS AND PRACTICES

摘要
In order to explore and describe the pedagogic-curricular thinking and practice about practical activities and resources for teaching science, we performed a study about curricular beliefs with mixed approach. Specifically we focus on the methodological aspects of the curriculum: planning; teaching development and resources used to teach experimental sciences (biology, physics, and chemistry). Information sources include questionnaire, interviews, planning and classroom observation. Overall, what teachers think is not equal to what they do, being more constructivist in thinking and traditional in the practice. As part of a government project in Chile (Fondecyt-11130150), we consider these findings and reflect about how we can use these results into initial training teacher to explore the pedagogic-curricular thinking and knowledge of future teachers.
