摘要
A compact self-aligned noncontact range finder is described; it uses the self-mixing effect inside a three-electrode distributed Bragg reflector laser diode. The obtained resolution of the device is 0.5 mm at a distance of 55 cm, instead of 5 mm with a classical Fabry-Perot laser diode in the same operating conditions.
