摘要：
We report results from a number of both laboratory and field tests concerning eddy current inspection of welds for fatigue cracks. The task was undertaken with two aims: firstly to become acquainted with this novel technique and secondly to validate its soundness. The European draft Standard prEN-1711 was followed throughout the tests.
