摘要
Dual three-phase motor fed by voltage-source inverter has the problem of large harmonic current generation that depends on a winding structure. This paper investigates dual three-phase winding structure with small harmonic current generation for 48-slot/8-pole permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is frequently used in electric vehicle. As a result of comparing dual three-phase full-pitch winding and dual three-phase short-pitch winding, short-pitch winding has significantly smaller inductance for particular harmonics, which results in larger harmonic current generation. It is concluded that full-pitch winding is suitable for dual three-phase motor, in contrast to that short-pitch winding is suitable for conventional three-phase motor.
