摘要
In this paper, we realize dual-band Radar cross section reduction by combining two structures working in different frequency bands. To this end, we firstly design two units to obtain circular polarization conversion in different bands. Based on the proposed chessboard configuration, each unit could constitute a chessboard structure to achieve RCS reduction in its operation band. Then, on the condition that the size and altitude of structure are not changed, we combine the metal constructions resulting in a dual-band RCS reduction and the 10 dBm(2) monostatic RCS reduction bands are 2.5GHz-4.5GHZ and 7GHz-11.5GHz, which demonstrates that the dual operation bands can be obtained by combining structures working in different bands. This work offers an idea to the design of dual-band or even wide-band structure.
